CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved south of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN ELK...SOUTHERN CHASE...BUTLER AND GREENWOOD
COUNTIES...

At 450 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Burns to 7 miles north of El Dorado to near
Augusta, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
El Dorado, Andover, Augusta, Eureka, Towanda, Benton, Leon, Madison,
Howard, Potwin, Hamilton, Severy, Burns, Rosalia, Cassoday, Climax,
Virgil, Matfield Green, Eureka City Lake and Santa Fe Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These thunderstorms are producing 60 to 65 mph winds. SEEK SHELTER
NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Wichita.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
