...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT ROBESON AND NORTHERN DILLON
COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 403 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Pembroke to near Minturn. Movement was east at
35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lumberton, Pembroke, Rowland, Raemon, Hamer, South Of The Border,
Hestertown, Barker Ten Mile, Purvis, Elrod, Mcdonald, and Raynham.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers 196 and 198.
 Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 1 and 23.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern North Carolina...and northeastern South Carolina.
