...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT
FOR DARLINGTON AND SOUTHERN MARLBORO COUNTIES...

At 627 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Laurinburg to near Mont Clare to near Lee State Park,
moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Hartsville, Darlington, Lamar, North Hartsville, Dovesville, Mont
Clare, Brownsville, Lydia, Darlington Raceway, Auburn, Swift Creek,
Clyde, Mechanicsville, Oats, Floyd, Dunbar, Kellytown, Florence
Darlington Technical College Main Campus, Society Hill, and Blenheim.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
