...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Illinois...

  Wabash River at Riverton.

  Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

  Wabash River at Montezuma.

  Wabash River at Terre Haute.

.Recent rainfall has led to flooding and potential flooding along a
few points of the Wabash River. This threat will continue through
the week into the weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement should be issued Wednesday afternoon by around
100 PM EDT /noon CDT/.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Some agricultural lands underwater.  A few
  rural roads in Crawford County, Illinois close as water backs up
  Minnow Slough.  High water affects campground at Leaverton Park in
  Palestine.  A few private roads near the Gill Township levee in
  Sullivan County may flood.  Water level is at the top of most
  makeshift levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM EDT Tuesday /8:00 PM CDT Tuesday/ the stage was
    14.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
    evening to 15.8 feet early Friday afternoon. It will then
    fall below flood stage early Saturday morning to 9.2 feet
    Tuesday, May 07. It will rise to 9.4 feet Wednesday, May 08.
    It will then fall again and remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Seep water occurs behind levees on Indiana
  side.  Hutson Creek begins to overflow from backwater.  Old Darwin
  Road and a few rural roads in eastern Clark and Crawford counties
  in Illinois are impassable.  Low agricultural land floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - There is no current observed data.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 17.1 feet Friday morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday morning to
    11.0 feet Tuesday, May 07. It will rise to 11.2 feet Tuesday,
    May 07. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Montezuma agricultural levee is
  overtopped.  Fourteen hundred acres of low bottomlands flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 16.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 PM EDT Tuesday was 16.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.2
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage early Thursday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute.

* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.5 feet, Flood waters begin to enter the two breaks
  in the Honey Creek Levee maintained by the Honey Creek Levee
  Association.  These two breaks occurred during the April 2013
  flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 PM EDT Tuesday /8:30 PM CDT Tuesday/ the stage was
    16.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
    evening to 16.8 feet early Thursday morning. It will then
    fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon to 9.9 feet
    Monday evening. It will rise to 10.2 feet Tuesday, May 07. It
    will then fall again and remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
