Thursday morning temperatures ranged from the lower 20s in the
west to upper 30s in the east. This was under mostly clear skies
with a steady northwest wind.

For today, expect plenty of sunshine with strong northwesterly
winds. With afternoon temperatures running above normal within a
dry airmass, fire weather concerns will increase across the
region. Red Flag Warnings are in effect for zones along and east
of Highway 83. The combination of strong winds and low humidity
will lead to the rapid spread and erratic behavior of any fire
starts.
