...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 AM CDT...

For the following areas...
Waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA from 20
to 60 NM...

At 849 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Eugene Island
243, or 57 nm southwest of Point Au Fer Island, moving east at 35
knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.
