The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Logan County in south central Kentucky...
  Southeastern Butler County in south central Kentucky...
  Northwestern Warren County in south central Kentucky...

* Until 200 PM CDT.

* At 135 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles west of
  Memphis Junction, moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bowling Green, Plum Springs, Crestmoor, Memphis Junction, Mount
  Victor, Hardcastle, Rockland, Buffalo Fork, Sharer, and Richelieu.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for south central
Kentucky.
