...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REPLACED ADVSISORY FOR AREAS NEAR FOX LAKE,
ROUND LAKE, GURNEE, GRAYSLAKE...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following
  counties, Lake IL and McHenry.

* WHEN...Until 830 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
  Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 612 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - A Flash Flood Warning has replaced the Flood Advisory for
    portions of Lake County. For areas near Fox Lake, Round Lake,
    Gurnee, and Grayslake, view the Flash Flood Warning for the
    latest information.

    Rainfall rates have begun to diminish over most of the area,
    with heavy rain ongoing near the Illinois-Wisconsin state
    line.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Waukegan, North Chicago, Mundelein, McHenry, Zion,
    Libertyville, Antioch, Wauconda, Island Lake, Lindenhurst,
    Beach Park, Gages Lake, Park City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
