Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 03Z, or 8 PM PDT, a 1030 MB high was
centered 900 NM northwest of Point Conception. A 1000 MB thermal
low was located in southern Nevada. Hazardous NW winds and dangerous
choppy seas will affect the outer waters into the middle of the
week.
