.DISCUSSION...
A strong cold front pushes across the area late Friday night into
early Saturday morning. In the wake, breezy west to northwest
winds are expected. While the current forecast calls for gusts up
to 20 mph during the afternoon, would not be surprised to see
gusts up to 25 to 30 mph based on the pattern. The afternoon RH
values likely fall into the 30 to 35 percent range. Northwest
winds gradually diminish into the mid/late evening as gusts fall
to around 15 to 20 mph. Winds shift to southwest by Sunday
afternoon as high pressure approaches from the west. Min RH values
come up a bit given this shift in the wind fields. Although the
forecast calls for a slight chance of afternoon rain showers, much
of the day should be dry as the rain threat stays off to the
south.
