...A GUST FRONT CROSSING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA...

At 139 AM EDT, Doppler radar and marine observations near Dahlgren
indicated a gust front producing winds to around 25 knots. This gust
front was located along a line extending from near Greenwell State
Park to near Colonial Beach, moving southeast at 40 knots.

The gust front will be near...

  Coltons Point, Saint Clements Bay, Breton Bay, Wicomico River, and
Cobb Island around 145 AM EDT.
  Piney Point, Coles Point, and Tall Timbers around 155 AM EDT.
  Saint George Island around 205 AM EDT.
  Yeocomico River around 210 AM EDT.
  Point Lookout around 215 AM EDT.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds and locally higher waves. Boaters in
small craft should seek safe harbor immediately.
