URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
247 PM CDT Mon Mar 25 2024

...SNOW CONTINUES IN WESTERN MINNESOTA. SOUTHERN AND EASTERN
MINNESOTA INTO WESTERN WISCONSIN HAVE TRANSITIONED TO RAIN, BUT
WILL RETURN TO MIXED PRECIPITATION THEN SNOW TUESDAY MORNING...

.Tonight, warmer air will keep rain as the dominant precipitation
type for most. Areas in far western Minnesota will likely remain
all snow. Colder air will move early Tuesday morning, causing a
changeover back to snow and introduce mixed precipitation in the
transition period. The transition will occur from west to east,
with any icing potential on the leading edge. A few more inches
of snow accumulation are possible. In western Minnesota, the main
concern is for strong northwest winds mid-morning Tuesday to gust
as high as 40 mph and cause blowing snow. The storm system will
exit on Tuesday.
