the weekend bringing wetting rains to the  district. The passing
storm will usher in gusty southerly winds  tonight and Saturday.
Additionally, thunderstorms and lower snow  levels will also develop
Saturday. High pressure returns on Monday kicking off a warming and
drying trend.

Turning cooler and damp today and the weekend.  Rainfall amounts
will generally be near a half inch to an inch, Thunder chances hang
around eastern Trinity County this afternoon and tonight. A trend
toward warmer and drier weather is forecast  for the next work week.
Expect some increased coastal wind gusts  from the north for Monday
through Wednesday afternoon and evening, with Tuesday afternoon
standing out to be most likely to be  strongest, especially along
the coast.
