At 458 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 35 knots and lightning strikes.
This thunderstorm was located 15 nm southwest of Buoy 44017, moving
northeast at 45 knots.

  Buoy 44017 around 510 AM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 35 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
