...NWS Damage Survey for the April 2, 2024, Tornado Event
Update...

.Update...Additional investigation finds evidence of an EF-1
tornado near Chandler in Warrick County, Indiana. This brings the
total number of confirmed tornadoes for the April 2, 2024 severe
weather event to 19 in the NWS Paducah County Warning Area.

Survey Summary:
This tornado touched down just west of State Route 261 and then
impacted a residential area south of Hunter Rd. Three homes
suffered substantial damage to their roofs. The tornado continued
east southeast to S. Center Rd before lifting just east of there.
Hundreds of trees were either snapped or uprooted in the path.
This survey was completed in partnership with Vanderburgh County
and Warrick County Emergency Management Agencies.
