...GROWING SEASON ACTIVE FOR MUCH OF WESTERN PA, NORTHERN, WV,
AND EASTERN OH...

As of April 13, 2024, National Weather Service Pittsburgh will
begin issuing Frost and Freeze Watches, Warnings, and Advisories
for the 2024 growing season for the following counties.

Pennsylvania:

Allegheny, Beaver, Fayette (lower elevations), Greene, Washington,
Westmoreland (lower elevations), Armstrong, Butler, and
Indiana (lower elevations).


Ohio:

Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson,
Monroe, Muskingum, Noble, and Tuscarawas.


West Virginia:

Brooke, Hancock, Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio, Wetzel,
and Preston (northwest and central)
