.DISCUSSION...
Pockets of clearing tonight may allow a seam for viewing the aurora
activity caused by the G-4 Geomagnetic Storm in the northern sky.
Developing fog, locally dense in spots, may hinder viewing in some
areas, however.
An upper level disturbance crossing today will lead to pop up
showers and afternoon thunderstorms. This time, thunderstorms could
be a bit stronger, and produce small hail.
High pressure will bring dry weather to finish out the weekend on
Mother`s Day. The dry weather will last into Monday evening, before
the next low pressure system brings active weather Monday night into
Wednesday. Warming trend will also be in place through Thursday.
