...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas...

  Sabine River Near Gladewater affecting Upshur, Smith, Gregg and
  Wood Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Gladewater.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding to continue with
  oil field operations curtailed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 21.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late Thursday morning and continue rising to a crest of 27.5
    feet Friday evening. It will then rise to 27.8 feet Sunday
    morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    28.0 feet on 03/01/1951.
