.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will expand north and west across east Texas
and neighboring fire districts through the predawn hours and continue
through the course of the day today, making for less than ideal fire
weather conditions. Relative humidity values will drop only to the
60 to 70 percent range during the afternoon, while mixing heights climb
to between 1000 and 2500 ft. Southeasterly winds will continue throughout
at speeds of 5 to 15 kts with higher gusts possible in the vicinity of
stronger convection.
