This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central
Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

There is a small chance, 20 to 30 percent, for thunderstorms
before dawn Sunday across east central Kansas, or areas south of
Interstate 35. Lightning may pose a hazard to those outside.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Favorable conditions for severe thunderstorms are forecast to
develop Monday. There may still be some adjustments to the
forecast, but the window for severe thunderstorms is looking like
the mid afternoon through late evening hours. And thunderstorms
may be capable of producing tornadoes, very large hail and
damaging wind gusts. The entire area of north central, northeast
and east central Kansas will be at risk of the severe weather.
