At 628 PM, National Weather Service radar detected isolated
showers, some with heavy rain mainly north of I44. They were most
widespread and heaviest in Ottawa, Creek and Washington counties in
Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at around 20 mph. The average
amount where it rained last hour was around one tenth of an inch
with maximum amounts of three quarters to around an inch. Coverage,
and intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area
forecast for early this evening, mostly cloudy, showers and
thunderstorms likely with temperatures 69 to 77 degrees and
southeast winds up to 10 mph shifting to the northeast.
