...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH
MONDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 9
  inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Harding County, Northern Perkins County and Southern
  Perkins County.

* WHEN...From Saturday evening through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means heavy snow, strong winds, freezing
precipitation, and cold temperatures are possible. Monitor NOAA
weather radio, local radio or television, or the Internet for
updates on this potentially dangerous storm.  Take time to
prepare for severe winter conditions before the storm develops.

  inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...In South Dakota, Butte County, the Northern Foot
  Hills, the Rapid City area and the Sturgis/Piedmont Foot
  Hills. In Wyoming, Northeastern Crook County.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility.

  of 5 to 8 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...The Northern Meade County Plains, Ziebach County, the
  Pennington County Plains, Haakon County and the Southern Meade
  County Plains. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Cheyenne
  River Reservation.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could
  bring down tree branches.

blowing snow with strong winds may produce dangerous whiteout

* WHERE...Northern Jackson County, Bennett County, Mellette
  County, Todd County, Tripp County and Southern Jackson County.
  This includes the Tribal Lands of the Pine Ridge Reservation
  and the Rosebud Reservation.

* WHEN...From Sunday morning through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could
  bring down tree branches.
