A SOMEWHAT DRIER AIRMASS WILL SPREAD BACK ACROSS THE STATE INTO THE
HOLIDAY WEEKEND, WITH ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA EACH DAY. THE BEST CHANCE FOR
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED OVER THE MOUNTAINS. CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED TO BE UNSTABLE ACROSS THE EASTERN PLAINS ON SATURDAY, WITH
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE. THE MAIN THREAT AT THIS TIME IS
EXPECTED TO BE LARGE HAIL AND POSSIBLY AN ISOLATED TORNADO.  PERSONS
ACROSS THE EASTERN PLAINS SHOULD REMAIN WEATHER ALERT ON SATURDAY. A
RETURN OF WARMER WEATHER IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS, BUT
TEMPERATURES WILL STILL BE BELOW AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR.

THE FORECAST FOR PIKES PEAK, TELLER COUNTY AND THE RAMPART RANGE.
SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY CLOUDY THIS AFTERNOON, WITH A 50 PERCENT CHANCE
OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. SNOW POSSIBLE ABOVE 11000 FEET, WITH
ACCUMULATIONS UP TO 1 INCH. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM 28 TO 58 DEGREES.
WINDS WILL BE OUT OF THE SOUTHWEST AT 10 TO 20 MPH.

SNOW POSSIBLE ABOVE 11000 FEET. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM 34 TO 65
DEGREES. WINDS WILL BE OUT OF THE SOUTHWEST AT 10 TO 25 MPH.
