INTO THURSDAY BEFORE WEAKENING ON FRIDAY AS A NEW LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM TAKES SHAPE OVER THE DESERT SOUTHWEST. THIS WILL BRING EVEN
WARMER WEATHER TO THE STATE INTO FRIDAY, WITH TEMPERATURES RETURNING
TO WELL ABOVE AVERAGE OVER MOST LOCATIONS. MOISTURE WILL BEGIN TO
INCREASE SLIGHTLY OVER THE MOUNTAINS AHEAD OF THE LOW ON FRIDAY,
WITH ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING. A
SLIGHT CHANCE FOR PRECIPITATION WILL THEN WORK ACROSS THE REMAINDER
OF THE REGION ON SATURDAY, WITH A FEW STRONG TO POSSIBLY SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE OVER THE EASTERN PLAINS, INCLUDING THE
PALMER DIVIDE REGION DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS.

SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY CLEAR TONIGHT, WITH LOWS RANGING FROM 25 TO 43
