IN LA CROSSE WI...

DURING THE METEOROLOGICAL SUMMER (JUNE 1ST THROUGH AUGUST 31ST) OF
2016, BOTH THE TEMPERATURES AND RAINFALL WERE ABOVE NORMAL AT LA
CROSSE REGIONAL AIRPORT.  IT WAS 12TH WARMEST AND THE 7TH WETTEST
SUMMER.

DURING METEOROLOGICAL SUMMER, LA CROSSE REGIONAL AIRPORT HAD AN
AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 73.7 DEGREES.  THIS WAS 2.2 DEGREES WARMER
THAN THE 1981-2010 NORMAL OF 71.5 DEGREES.  THIS WAS THE 12TH
WARMEST SUMMER AND THE WARMEST SINCE 2012 WHEN THE AVERAGE
TEMPERATURE WAS 74.4 DEGREES.  THE WARMEST SUMMER OCCURRED BACK IN
1995 WHEN THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 75.7 DEGREES.
