THE WINTER OF 2015-2016 WAS ONE OF THE WARMEST EVER RECORDED AT NORTH
LITTLE ROCK. TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S IN EARLY AND MID DECEMBER...
LATE JANUARY AND SCATTERED THROUGHOUT FEBRUARY ASSURED THE SEASONS
PLACE IN THE RECORD BOOKS.

.SEASONAL TEMPERATURES...
THE SEASONAL HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2001-2002...AND
THE 4TH WARMEST ON RECORD. THE SEASONAL LOW TEMPERATURE WAS THE
WARMEST SINCE 2011-2012...AND THE 3RD WARMEST ON RECORD. THE
AVERAGE SEASONAL TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMES SINCE 2011-2012...AND
THE 3RD WARMEST ON RECORD.

THERE WERE 25 DAYS WITH TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW FREEZING...WHICH
WAS THE FEWEST IN FOUR YEARS /SINCE 2011-2012/.

.RAINFALL...
RAINFALL WAS ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TWO YEARS /SINCE
2013-2014. IT WAS THE WETTEST WINTER SINCE 2009-2010...AND THE 6TH
WETTEST ON RECORD.

.SNOWFALL...
SNOWFALL WAS ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE WINTER OF
2012-2013. ALL OF THE SNOW FELL IN JANUARY. THE GREATEST 24-HOUR
SNOWFALL DURING THE WINTER WAS DURING THE JANUARY 21ST-22ND
STORM...WITH A TOTAL OF 7.2 INCHES. THIS WAS THE ONLY MEASURABLE
SNOWFALL DURING THE WINTER.
