HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PENDLETON OR
419 AM PST SAT FEB 13 2016

...HEAVY RAIN MAY CLIP THE CENTRAL CASCADES LATE THIS WEEKEND...

STRONG WESTERLY FLOW WILL CAUSE RISING SNOW LEVELS WITH HEAVY RAIN
POSSIBLE LATE THIS WEEKEND THROUGH MONDAY IN THE CENTRAL
CASCADES...MAINLY OVER WESTERN KITTITAS COUNTY. WEATHER MODELS
SHOW THE HEAVY RAIN FOCUSED OVER THE NORTH CASCADES OF
WASHINGTON..BUT THERE IS A CHANCE THE HEAVY RAIN AREA WILL SHIFT
SOUTH. THE RIVERS FLOWING OFF THE EAST SLOPES OF THE CASCADES WILL
SEE SIGNIFICANT RISES...BUT AT THIS TIME ARE NOT EXPECTED TO REACH
FLOOD STAGE. IF THIS SYSTEM STALLS OR IF PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS
INCREASE THEN RIVER FLOODING MAY OCCUR OVER THIS PERIOD.
