SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO...GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS...VAN HORN REGION...
PORTIONS OF THE UPPER TRANS PECOS AND WESTERN PERMIAN BASIN...

.REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM ODILE WILL CONTINUE TO DRIFT EAST
ACROSS NEW MEXICO AND WEST TEXAS TODAY.  THIS WILL BRING ABUNDANT
PACIFIC MOISTURE AND INCREASING CHANCES FOR HEAVY RAIN TO
SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO AND WEST TEXAS.  HEAVY RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN
OVERNIGHT ACROSS EDDY AND CULBERSON COUNTIES WITH ADDITIONAL RAIN
EXPECTED TODAY AND TONIGHT.  ONGOING HEAVY RAIN WILL SPREAD FLASH
FLOOD CONCERNS ACROSS THE UPPER TRANS PECOS INTO THE WESTERN PERMIAN
BASIN.

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH TO INCLUDE PORTIONS OF WEST TEXAS...INCLUDING
  THE FOLLOWING AREAS...REEVES COUNTY AND UPPER TRANS PECOS...
  ANDREWS...GAINES AND LOVING.

* THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING

* ABUNDANT MOISTURE FROM THE REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM ODILE
  WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION THROUGH TONIGHT...INCREASING THE
  CHANCES FOR HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY
  RAINFALL. ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE N THESE
  AREAS WITH LOCAL HIGHER AMOUNTS.

* FLOODING OF CREEKS...LOW WATER CROSSINGS...AND CITY STREETS
  WILL BE POSSIBLE.
