TEXAS THROUGH THIS EVENING...

.HEAVY RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER MUCH OF SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO AND
PORTIONS OF WEST TEXAS SINCE SUNDAY NIGHT. ABUNDANT MOISTURE AND
SURFACE HEATING TUESDAY DESTABILIZED THE ATMOSPHERE CAUSING
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP...SOME CONTAINING
HEAVY RAINFALL. THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT...
MAINLY OVER SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO AND FAR WEST TEXAS. RAINFALL
RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT. SOILS ARE
SATURATED AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN MAY LEAD TO AREAS OF FLASH
FLOODING...PARTICULARLY IN BAR DITCHES...LOW WATER CROSSINGS...

  TEXAS...ANDREWS...BIG BEND AREA...CRANE...DAVIS/APACHE
  MOUNTAINS AREA...DAWSON...ECTOR...GAINES...GUADALUPE

  UNDERPASSES... AND OTHER URBAN AREAS PRONE TO HIGH WATER.
