...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Nebraska...

  North Platte River near Henry affecting Scotts Bluff County
  North Platte River near Mitchell affecting Scotts Bluff County

.Hydrologic Summary...Upstream reservior releases will maintain high
water levels along the North Platte River in the western Nebraska
Panhandle through much of the week. Scattered showers and thunderstorms
early this week may result in additional short notice rises to the river.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded areas. Move to higher ground. The water
may be deep enough to float you and your vehicle. Turn around, don`t
drown.

The next statement will be issued Monday morning.

* Flood Warning continues for
  The North Platte River near Henry.
* For the North Platte River near Henry, Minor flooding is occurring,
  with a stage of 6.3 feet measured at 7 PM Sunday.
* The river will remain steady near 6.3 feet through Thursday.
* Impact...at 6.5 feet...Lowland flooding intensifies. Homes along the
  North Platte River will be totally inundated with basement and
  overland flooding.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 6.3 feet
  on Jun 13 1986.

* Flood Warning continues for
  The North Platte River near Mitchell.
* For the North Platte River near Mitchell, Minor flooding is
  occurring, with a stage of 8.3 feet measured at 7 PM Sunday.
* Moderate flooding is forecast, with a maximum stage of 8.8 feet,
  which is 1.3 feet above flood stage.
* The river will crest around 8.8 feet Monday and remain near that
  level through Thursday.
* Impact...at 8.5 feet...Monument Pathway in Scottsbluff is under four
  to five feet of water. Low lying flooding becomes more widespread at
  Riverside Park in Scottsbluff. Homes along the river from Mitchell to
  Scottsbluff are totally inundated with basement and overland flooding.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.0 feet
  on Jun 20 2010.
