...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 AM EDT FOR CABARRUS
AND NORTHEASTERN MECKLENBURG COUNTIES...

At 248 AM EDT, automated rain gauge reports indicated that 2 to 4
inches of rain has fallen over the last 4 to 5 hours.  Heavy rain
has ceased across the advisory area, however any flood waters could
take additional time to recede.

Minor flooding is possible along Back Creek south of Harrisburg near
the intersections of Robinson Church Road and Stalling Road in the
vicinity of Middleton and Rocky Meadows Subdivisions.  Minor
flooding is also possible along Mallard Creek near the PNC Music
Pavilion and any nearby roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flood water flowing over roads or threatening property,
or landslides to the National Weather Service by calling toll free,
1, 800, 2 6 7, 8 1 0 1, or by posting on our Facebook page, or Tweet
it using hashtag nwsgsp. your message should describe the event and
the specific location where it occurred.
