...The Flood Warning is no longer in effect for portions of the
following river in western Indiana...

  Wabash River...


.The Wabash River at Covington fell below flood stage this morning
for the first time in 8 weeks.  Elevated river levels will continue
through next week.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Be alert to flood debris on previously flooded roads. Keep children
away from flooded areas. Recreational and agricultural interests
should remain alert to changing river conditions.

The Flood Warning is cancelled for
  The Wabash River at Covington.
* At  6:45 AM Tuesday the stage was 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Fell below flood stage at  5:45 AM Tuesday.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to 15.7 feet by tomorrow
  morning.
