FLOOD STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN
1208 PM EST THU MAR 5 2015

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following river in
southern Indiana...

  Muscatatuck River...


.Lowland flooding will develop along portions of the Muscatatuck
River in southwest Jackson and northern Washington Counties.  High
water will be lower than levels seen in January. Flooding will affect
some local roads ...low agricultural land and some river parks
beginning Thursday night and continuing through the weekend.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Muscatatuck River at Wheeler Hollow.
* from Friday morning to Sunday evening.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to have a maximum value of 18.9
  feet Saturday morning.
* At 20.0 feet...High water is noticed along the river.  Flood waters
  in a few backyards.  A few roads are flooded.
