     Newburgh Dam......affecting Spencer...Vanderburgh...Warrick...
                         Daviess and Henderson Counties.
     Mount Vernon......affecting Posey...Vanderburgh...Henderson and
                         Union Counties.
     Shawneetown.......affecting Gallatin...Hardin...Crittenden and
                         Union Counties.
     Brookport Dam.....affecting Massac and McCracken Counties.

     Grand Chain Dam...affecting Massac...Pulaski...Ballard and
 McCracken Counties.
     Cairo.............affecting Alexander...Pulaski...Ballard...
                         Carlisle...Fulton...Hickman and
                         Mississippi Counties.

.Heavy rainfall has caused river levels to rise on the Ohio River.
Minor flooding is occurring and/or Minor flooding is forecast at these
locations. See the details below...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio or your local media for further statements and possible updated
forecasts.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Ohio River at Newburgh Dam
* until Tuesday evening.
* At  9:00 PM Saturday the stage was 38.6 feet.
* Flood Stage is 38.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 39.1 feet by
  tomorrow evening. The river will fall below flood stage Tuesday
  early afternoon.
* Impact...At 38.0 Feet...Minor flooding occurs.  The river is 2500
  feet wide and begins covering agricultural land on the Kentucky
  side.

* Flood Stage is 35.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to near flood stage Monday
  evening.

* from Sunday evening to Wednesday evening.
* At  8:30 PM Saturday the stage was 31.8 feet.
* Flood Stage is 33.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue
  to rise to near 33.2 feet by Monday early afternoon. The river will
  fall below flood stage by Wednesday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 33.0 Feet...Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
  bottomland and surrounding low lying areas.

* from Sunday evening until further notice.
* At  6:00 PM Saturday the stage was 35.5 feet.
* Flood Stage is 37.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue
  to rise to near 39.0 feet by Thursday morning. Additional rises are
  possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 37.0 Feet...Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
  agricultural bottomland and low lying areas.

  agricultural bottomland and low lying areas.
