Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia...corrected to remove extraneous data...
National Weather Service Columbia SC
314 PM EST Sat Feb 17 2018

.DISCUSSION...A frontal boundary over the forecast area will drop
to the south late tonight, then lift north as a warm front Monday.
With limited atmospheric moisture and energy available, light shower
activity will be scattered at best.

The pressure gradient will be weak and support poor dispersion
overall between the times of inversion--about 8 PM this evening
through 9 AM Sunday. Low-level moisture will be enough for patchy
fog development mainly toward morning.

Surface winds Sunday will be from the north-northeast around 5 mph
after daybreak, become northeast at 5 to 10 mph by late morning,
then become east during the afternoon. Transport winds will be
east-northeast around 10 mph for much of the day. Relative
humidities will drop into the 40 to 50 percent range.
