FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON TX
444 AM CDT SAT AUG 1 2015

.DISCUSSION...
HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE AREA WILL KEEP RELATIVELY DRIER AIR AND
LIGHT WINDS IN PLACE. DEEP AFTERNOON MIXING HEIGHTS WILL OCCUR
THIS WEEKEND. A WARM FRONT WILL DRIFT BACK NORTH LATE SUNDAY
AND MONDAY AND COULD BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR RAIN ALONG THE COAST.
HIGHER AFTERNOON HUMIDITIES CAN BE EXPECTED MONDAY AND TUESDAY WITH
THE HEAT INDEX RETURNING TO AROUND 105 BOTH DAYS AND POSSIBLY
HIGHER NEAR THE COAST. ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED NEXT
WITH LITTLE TO NO CHANCE FOR RAIN AS AN UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE
SYSTEM CONTINUES TO DOMINATE THE WEATHER.
