Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
447 AM CST Thu Feb 22 2018

.DISCUSSION...

A strong cold front shifted southward closer to the forecast area
during the overnight/early morning hours, bringing a line of
heavy showers across northwest Alabama and into Southern Middle
Tennessee. The front will lift back up to the northwest today
allowing for precipitation chances to decrease. However in return,
southerly winds will be breezy with gusts up to 20 mph possible.

Drier conditions expected on Friday as the front remains to our
northwest. Dispersions improve with better mixing heights and
southerly winds once again breezy with gusts of 20 mph possible.

Fog potential over the next few days: None at this time

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time
