FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
148 PM CDT TUE AUG 19 2014

.DISCUSSION...
ASIDE FROM A FEW SHOWERS OR STORMS DEVELOPING ACROSS THE AREA
THIS AFTERNOON, ONE FINAL ROUND OF SHOWERS AND STORMS IS EXPECTED
LATE TONIGHT INTO EARLY TOMORROW MORNING AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE
MOVES ACROSS THE REGION.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BEGIN BUILDING INTO THE AREA FOR THE REST OF
THE WEEK, WITH HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS EXPECTED EACH DAY THROUGH
THE WEEKEND. WINDS WILL REMAIN RELATIVELY LIGHT AND VARIABLE DURING
THIS TIME, WITH FAIR TO GOOD SMOKE DISPERSION EXPECTED.

AFTERNOON RH VALUES WILL HOVER AROUND 40 PERCENT (AND SLOWLY CLIMB
THROUGH THE PERIOD), SO NO RED FLAG CONDITIONS WILL BE MET DURING
THROUGH THURSDAY.
