Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
358 AM CDT Sun Apr 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Wet and cool conditions will prevail today behind a cold front
that has passed over most of the area. Where it has not yet passed
over northeast Alabama, some embedded storms are possible early
this morning. Showers are expected to continue to develop through
the day as the upper level portion of the weather system moves
across the region.

Rain should come to an end areawide tonight with fog possible by
early Monday morning. Slightly warmer temperatures are forecast on
Monday afternoon in the low 70s with slightly higher mixing
heights resulting in generally good dispersion values.

Then, on Tuesday, daytime high temperatures should rise quickly
into the low 80s as a high pressure system moves over the
Southeast. The next opportunity for precipitation will be on
Wednesday night into Thursday with a weak cold front expected.

Fog potential over the next few days: Fog formation is possible
tonight if clouds break. Could also see patchy fog on Monday
night.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time due to high
minimum relative humidity values.
