FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EXTREME SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS...
NORTHEAST LOUISIANA...AND CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS
349 PM CST FRI DEC 9 2016

.DISCUSSION...NO FOG DEVELOPMENT IS EXPECTED TONIGHT OR SATURDAY
NIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS JUST TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF THE
REGION. COLDER THAN NORMAL AND DRY WEATHER WILL LAST THROUGH THE
WEEKEND...WITH TONIGHT THE COLDEST NIGHT AND MUCH BELOW NORMAL.
MOISTURE WILL SLOWLY INCREASE LATE WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK WHEN
ANOTHER CHANCE OF RAIN MOVES BACK INTO THE REGION SUNDAY NIGHT INTO
MONDAY. SOME FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS ARE POSSIBLE IN CENTRAL AND
EASTERN FIRE WEATHER DISTRICTS SATURDAY BUT WITH LIGHT WINDS AND
RECENT RAINFALL...THIS SHOULD HELP ALLEVIATE THE FIRE WEATHER DANGER
SOMEWHAT.
