Fire Weather Planning Forecast For West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
231 PM CDT Fri Oct 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will remain low the next several days. Above
normal temperatures will continue Saturday, however min RHs will
stay above 15% areawide. Saturday night, rain will be possible across
the eastern Permian Basin and Lower Trans Pecos as a cold front moves
through the area, followed by cooler temperatures Sunday and Monday.
Localized RHs may drop to around 15% on Sun/Mon, however, winds will
be light, thus critical fire weather conditions are not expected. A
series of dry cold fronts will keep temperatures in check most of
next week.
