Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
240 PM PDT Mon Sep 25 2017

...Poor to moderate humidity recoveries on upper slopes and ridges
Tuesday and Wednesday night...

.DISCUSSION...The warming and drying trend will continue through
Thursday. Breezy north winds are expected into this evening.
Moderate east to northeast winds are then expected tonight and
last through Wednesday near and at the ridges in western Sikiyou
County and Curry County. The Cascades will also have moderate east to
northeast winds, but will be strongest Tuesday night into Wednesday
morning. Confidence is high that some poor to moderate humidity
recoveries will affect upper slopes and ridges Tuesday night through
Wednesday night. The thermal trough will shift inland on Wednesday
with weak onshore flow possible near and at the coast resulting in
cooler temperatures and higher humidity. A cold front will move
through Friday bringing cooler temperatures, a chance of rain north of
Umpqua Divide, northern Cascades and the coast and gusty winds.
