...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS EVENING FOR FIRE
   WEATHER ZONES ORZ620...ORZ622...

.DISCUSSION...An upper low along the northern California coast
continues to pump moisture into the area. Scattered thunderstorms
will persist over much of the area from the Cascade east and
Siskiyous south through Wednesday evening. Some thunderstorms
will also continue over the west side through this evening. More
moisture means that some storms will feature wetting rains, but
abundant lightning should still cause fire starts. The upper low
will move east of the area Wednesday, and the air mass will
stabilize late Wednesday into Thursday. Little to no thunderstorm
activity is expected Thursday through Friday, but it will be very
hot inland Friday through Monday.
