.Discussion...
A wet pattern of afternoon showers and lightning storms returns to
the forecast. Min RHs recover some as moisture begins to increase
tomorrow, and values are forecast to remain above critical thresholds
into mid week. Southeast winds increase to 10-15 mph tomorrow afternoon
before veering southwest into Tuesday night. High temperatures warm
into the 90s this week, with heat index values between 100-105 degrees
Wednesday and Thursday. Very good to excellent smoke dispersion is
forecast.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
