FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR THE HEARTLAND
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
505 AM CST SUN MAR 1 2015

.DISCUSSION...

THE WEATHER WILL REMAIN UNSETTLED OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. A WEAK
WEATHER SYSTEM WILL KEEP THE POTENTIAL FOR LIGHT PRECIPITATION IN
THE FORECAST THROUGH TONIGHT. THE GREATEST IMPACT FROM WINTRY
PRECIPITATION WILL REMAIN OVER NORTHERN AND WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE
QUAD STATE REGION.

AFTER A BRIEF REPRIEVE ON MONDAY...A PROLONGED PERIOD OF WET WEATHER
IS FORECAST MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS A MUCH STRONGER
WEATHER SYSTEM MOVES THROUGH. HEAVY RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT. A TRANSITION TO SNOW IS
POSSIBLE ON WEDNESDAY AS ANOTHER BLAST OF ARCTIC AIR MOVES IN.
FORTUNATELY...DRY WEATHER AND A MODERATION IN TEMPERATURES IS IN THE
OFFING LATE IN THE WEEK.
