FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH-CENTRAL
ARIZONA AND SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHOENIX AZ
335 AM MST MON JUL 6 2015

.DISCUSSION...
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN A THREAT TODAY...GENERALLY FROM
SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA EASTWARD. ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP HAVE THE
POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE BRIEF GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN. WARMER AND
DRIER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TUESDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
APPROACHES CALIFORNIA AND THE WINDS BECOME MORE SOUTHWESTERLY ACROSS
THE DESERT SOUTHWEST. THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE RELEGATED
TO THE HIGHER TERRAIN NORTH AND EAST OF PHOENIX.

...THUNDERSTORMS IMPLY GUSTY WINDS...

NOTE...ADDITIONAL FIRE WEATHER FORECAST INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND
IN THE AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION. SEE PRODUCT PHXAFDPSR.
