CONSIDERABLE RAINFALL WILL OCCUR TODAY AS A FAST UPPER JETSTREAM
AIMS INTO THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AND A WARM FRONT LIFTS ACROSS THE
REGION. SNOW LEVELS NEAR 5500 FEET THIS MORNING WILL RISE TO 9500
FEET BY THIS EVENING. WINDS ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN WILL BE
STRONG AND GUSTY AT TIMES. RAIN CONTINUES TONIGHT BUT WILL
DECREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT AS
HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS OFFSHORE AND THE UPPER FLOW TURNS NORTHWEST.
EARLY NEXT WEEK LOOKS MAINLY DRY UNDER HIGH PRESSURE BUT A QUICK-
HITTING FRONT LOOKS TO COME THROUGH WITH WIDESPREAD RAIN AND
MOUNTAIN SNOW PRECIPITATION WEDNESDAY.
