...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

DRY AND SEASONABLE CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TODAY WITH AFTERNOON
BREEZES AND MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES. A VIGOROUS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL
BRING A RETURN OF COOLER AND UNSETTLED WEATHER BEGINNING IN THE
SIERRA THURSDAY AND SPREADING TO MOST OF THE REGION FRIDAY THROUGH
THE WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DEVELOPING OVER THE CALIFORNIA COAST WILL
BRING DEEPENING OF THE MARINE LAYER THROUGH FRIDAY ALONG WITH A
GRADUAL INLAND COOLING TREND. ONSHORE FLOW WILL BRING DIURNALLY
DRIVEN GUSTY WEST WINDS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS EACH AFTERNOON
THROUGH LATE EVENING. MOISTURE FROM THE REMNANTS OF HURRICANE ANDRES
COULD ALSO BRING A FEW HIGH CLOUDS LATE IN THE WEEK. SOME LOW-LEVEL
MOISTURE COULD BRING BUILDUPS OR ISOLATED SHOWERS TO THE MOUNTAINS
FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. FOR NEXT WEEKEND THROUGH EARLY NEXT
WEEK...LOW PRESSURE AND ONSHORE FLOW WILL WEAKEN WITH AN INLAND
WARMING TREND AND A GRADUALLY SHALLOWER MARINE LAYER. THERE IS A
SMALL CHANCE EARLY NEXT WEEK FOR MOISTURE FROM THE REMNANTS OF
TROPICAL CYCLONE BLANCA TO SPREAD INTO PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

DRY SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW ALOFT WILL KEEP SKIES SUNNY BY DAY AND CLEAR
AT NIGHT. MINIMUM HUMIDITY VALUES WILL CONTINUE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS
TODAY AND THURSDAY...WITH FAIR TO POOR RECOVERY EXPECTED ACROSS
SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA...BETTER VALUES FURTHER WEST ACROSS SOUTHEAST
CALIFORNIA. EXPECT LOCALLY BREEZY SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS...MAINLY
DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS.
