...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER THE REGION BRINGING WARMING
TEMPERATURES AND CONTINUED DRY CONDITIONS. GUSTY NORTH WINDS WILL BE
SEEN MONDAY AND TUESDAY ACROSS MAINLY THE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY.
WITH CRITICAL FUELS COMBINED WITH THE GUSTY WINDS AND DRY
CONDITIONS, SOME LOCAL AREAS MAY BRIEFLY APPROACH RED FLAG
CONDITIONS. THESE CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN THROUGH MID
WEEK. DRY CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN THROUGH THE WEEK WITH SOME SLIGHT
COOLING EXPECTED BY THE END OF THE WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

THE RED FLAG WARNING WAS EXTENDED FROM 6 PM TUESDAY TO 6 PM
WEDNESDAY. THE WINDS ON WEDNESDAY WILL NOT BE QUITE AS STRONG AS ON
MONDAY OR TUESDAY, BUT THE MODELS HAVE TRENDED STRONGER WITH THE
WINDS ON WEDNESDAY. GIVEN THE EXCEPTIONALLY DRY FUELS AND POTENTIAL
IMPACTS, THE RED FLAG WARNING WAS EXTENDED THROUGH 6 PM WEDNESDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER THE DISTRICTS THROUGH THE EARLY
WEEK, RESULTING IN WELL ABOVE NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURES. MINIMUM
AFTERNOON HUMIDITIES INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS EACH AFTERNOON WHILE
NIGHTTIME RECOVERIES WILL BE POOR TO FAIR. SOUTH-CENTRAL AZ WINDS
WILL TAKE UP MORE NORTH TO EASTERLY HEADINGS WITH RIDGETOP/GAP
BREEZINESS IN THE AMS AND ELEVATED LOWER DESERT BREEZES IN THE
AFTERNOONS TUESDAY INTO THE LATTER PART OF THE WEEK.
