.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures will be nearly 20 degrees above normal for this time
of year, topping out in the low to mid 50s. A strong cold front
will drop south through the area this evening, bringing gusty
northwest winds, and knocking down temperatures. Lows will be in
the teens to low 20s tonight, with wind chill values in the single
digits below and above zero Tuesday morning. Winds out of the
northwest, with gusts of 25 to 30 mph can be expected overnight
through mid afternoon Tuesday. Highs Tuesday will only be in the
mid 20s.

The cold snap will be brief, with another warm up in store for the
second half of the work week. Precipitation chances still look
minimal through the week, with only a small chance of light rain
or snow Wednesday afternoon. Little to no snow accumulation is
expected.
