...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST FRIDAY...
...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 9 PM PST THURSDAY...

.DISCUSSION...Upper level high pressure nearby will help to keep a
persistent offshore flow pattern over the area today into Friday
morning. Another round of strong and gusty northeast winds will
affect the burn area today into this evening, with 20-foot wind gusts
up to 35 mph, except up to 50 mph over the ridgetops. Eye-level
winds will peak today with gusts up to 20 mph possible. The
strongest winds will generally be below and through the favored
passes and canyons. The winds are expected to slowly diminish tonight
into Friday morning, then turn weakly onshore Friday afternoon.
Humidities will be in the single digits most of the time, except
improving to 10 to 15 percent tonight. Due to the gusty winds and
extremely dry air mass, the Red Flag Warning will continue over the
burn area through Friday morning.
