...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM SATURDAY TO 6 PM PDT
TUESDAY DUE TO GUSTY NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITIES...

.DISCUSSION...A weak upper level trough moving through the
region today will continue to bring cool and moist conditions
along with gusty northwest winds to the burn location this
evening. As the winds shift to a more northerly direction
overnight, there will be a drying trend. By Saturday morning,
northeast winds will develop across the burn area. While the
burn area itself will be somewhat sheltered from the north
to northeast winds, nearby ridgetops will see increasing
winds overnight into Saturday. As the flow turns northeast,
looking for a significant drying trend on Saturday, then
poor humidity recoveries Saturday night. There is the
potential for critical Red Flag conditions to continue
Sunday through Tuesday due to the combination of gusty
northeast winds, warm temperatures, and very low humidities.
