622 PM PDT SAT JUL 4 2015

FORECAST IS BASED ON REQUEST TIME OF 1814 PDT ON JULY 04.
IF CONDITIONS BECOME UNREPRESENTATIVE...CONTACT THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE IN SEATTLE.

.DISCUSSION...A THERMAL PRESSURE TROUGH WILL STRENGTHEN NEAR THE
COAST TONIGHT...PEAKING IN STRENGTH ON SUNDAY MORNING. THIS WILL
INCREASE NORTH-NORTHEAST WINDS STARTING LATE TONIGHT AND
CONTINUING UNTIL LATER SUNDAY AFTERNOON. MEANWHILE...THE NORTHEAST
WINDS WILL DRAW IN A WARM AND DRY CONTINENTAL AIR MASS ALL THE WAY
TO THE COAST. THE COMBINATION OF MODERATE BREEZES AND LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL CREATE A CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER SITUATION ON
SUNDAY. IN ADDITION...MID-LEVEL HAINES 5-6 CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED ON SUNDAY...MEANING A DRY AND UNSTABLE AIR MASS ALOFT
WILL BE IN PLACE. THE DRY AND UNSTABLE AIR MASS WILL HAVE ITS
BIGGEST IMPACT ON FIRES ABOVE 2000 FEET ELEVATION. THE IMMEDIATE
COAST WILL COOL OFF ON MONDAY...BUT THE INTERIOR SHOULD CONTINUE
WITH THE PROLONGED STRETCH OF HOT DAYS THROUGH AT THE LEAST THE
MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
