This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Maine, south central Maine,
southwest Maine, western Maine, central New Hampshire and southern
New Hampshire.

Heavy rainfall is expected Tuesday night into Thursday. While the
region has been very dry lately, there is a chance that excessive
rainfall could occur, especially on southeastern slopes of the White
mountains and the western Maine mountains. Therefore, there is a low
probability of small stream and urban flooding.

In addition, there is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms
Tuesday night, mainly in New Hampshire. Main threat would be wind
damage.
