...A storm is looming on the horizon for Sunday...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

A potential winter storm will bring accumulating snow and strong
north winds to western and north-central Nebraska late Saturday
night through Sunday night. Snowfall accumulations of up to six
inches will be possible, especially across the northern Panhandle
and north-central Nebraska. Freezing drizzle also may develop
Saturday afternoon over northwestern areas, before the snow
starts. Sunday and Sunday night is the time period when the worst
conditions are expected.

Please stay tuned for further statements regarding this potential
winter storm system.
