THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS: SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE
THIS AFTERNOON MAINLY OVER SOUTHWEST PORTIONS OF THE EVERGLADES.
SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL INCREASE ALONG THE EAST
COAST METRO REGION BY LATE TONIGHT.

WIND: WINDS OF 40-50 MPH MAY OCCUR WITH THE STRONGEST
STORMS THIS AFTERNOON.

TEMPERATURES: HEAT INDICIES THIS AFTERNOON WILL RANGE FROM 103 TO
107 DEGREES ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA THIS AFTERNOON.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS SOUTH
FLORIDA THROUGH THE WEEK AND WEEKEND. HIGHER COVERAGE OF STORMS
IS EXPECTED ACROSS ALL OF SOUTH FLORIDA LATER THIS WEEK AS A
BOUNDARY MOVES INTO THE REGION. LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WIND WILL BE
THE PRIMARY HAZARDS.

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER HAS A MEDIUM CHANCE OF TROPICAL
DEVELOPMENT BETWEEN THE LESSER ANTILLES AND THE BAHAMAS WITHIN
THE NEXT 48 HOUR. ALTHOUGH IT IS TOO EARLY TO TELL WHAT IMPACT,
IF ANY, THIS SYSTEM WILL HAVE ON SOUTH FLORIDA, RESIDENTS SHOULD
CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS.
