...PATCHY SMOKE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING PARTS OF EAST COAST...

This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: There is a slight chance of thunderstorms mainly over
the interior areas of South Florida this afternoon. The primary
impacts from the thunderstorms will be lightning strikes and locally
heavy rainfall.

Temperatures: Heat index values will near 100 degrees across portions
of the interior this afternoon.

Visibility: Reduced visibility is possible early this morning across
portions of metro and coastal Broward and Miami-Dade counties due to
smoke from an ongoing wildfire in western portions of Broward
county. Visibility may be reduced to less than 3 miles at times, but
is expected to improve with later this morning with the onset of the
Atlantic sea breeze.

Fire Weather: Low relative humidity will lead to fire weather
concerns in Glades county this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

Isolated thunderstorms are possible mainly over interior sections
Tuesday and Wednesday. There is a chance of thunderstorms all areas
Thursday through Saturday, mainly during the afternoon. The primary
threat with this activity will be cloud to ground lightning strikes
and locally heavy rainfall.

No other Hazardous weather is expected at this time.
