THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST NORTH
CAROLINA...EAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...REST OF TONIGHT...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DIMINISH BY AND
AFTER MIDNIGHT. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS MAY HAVE CAUSED PONDING OF
WATER IN LOW LYING OR POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. PATCHY AREAS OF FOG ARE
LIKELY TO DEVELOP WHERE THE HEAVIER RAINS FELL.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS
PERIOD AS UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES TRACK ACROSS THE REGION. A RISK
OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL EXIST WITH THIS ACTIVITY DUE TO THE
MOISTURE RICH ENVIRONMENT THAT WILL BE IN PLACE ACROSS THE REGION.
SOME MINOR FLOODING CONCERNS CAN BE EXPECTED IN AREAS THAT RECEIVE
PROLONGED RAINFALL FROM MORE THAN ONE ROUND OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS.
