...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 4 PM PST TUESDAY...

* WINDS...Late this evening through Tuesday, south wind 25 to 35
  kt with gusts 40 to 45 kt. Wind becoming west and ease Tuesday
  afternoon.

* SEAS...Building to a peak around 15 to 17 feet mid-day Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Small Craft
Advisory for rough bar, which is in effect from 3 AM to 7 AM PST
Tuesday.

* IN THE MAIN CHANNEL...

* General seas...6 to 8 feet.

* FIRST EBB...Strong ebb around 445 PM today. Seas building to
  near 11 feet.

* SECOND EBB...Around 515 AM Tuesday. Seas building to near 10
  feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory for rough bar means that wave conditions
are expected to be hazardous to small craft in or near harbor
entrances.
